Honouring the ingenious structure of this human body: the bones, cells, tissues, organs, muscles and ligaments; all operating together with astonishing organisation; an exquisite masterpiece of engineering 13.7 billion years in the making. And with this heartfelt appreciation, my body kneels down before me, like a dog at his master’s feet! Ah, I see it like never before: I am the master, entrusted with his care. I am filled with love for my sweet human, and gently hold his chest, his belly, his brow. And as I do so I sense his sadness: “Why did you leave me master? Where have you been?” “I am so sorry my friend. I was lost; in a deep, deep sleep. But now I am home again, to love you, and protect you.” He starts to cry. Warm love flows forth like a healing balm, infusing every cell, every fibre of my sweet human. “Yes, you can let your sadness go now, and take rest dear friend, deep rest.”
